Ranbir Kapoor, the famous Bollywood actor and FC Barcelona ambassador to India won the Filmfare award for his role in the movie 'Rockstar'.
Kapoor, is 29 years old and comes from one of the most famous of Bollywood families. His father, Rishi Kapoor, husband of actress Randhir Kapoor, won the Best Actor award last year for his role in ‘Do Dooni Chaar’. And his grandfather, Raj Kapoor, won 12 different awards during his successful career in Indian cinema.

“I have always been a Barça fan because of their football, their players” said Kapoor last year on Barça TV. “It is like a religion, they play great football and it is also a great organisation. Also because of their solidarity. They play the best football ever seen anywhere in the world. I have been a Barça supporter ever since the early nineties”.
His agreement with FC Barcelona
The Bollywood superstar is helping to promote the Barça values at schools in India, and after signing a collaboration agreement with the club said “as a fan, this is a huge moment for me. To be associated with a club with such great men as Messi and Xavi in the team is absolutely wonderful. My role is to do my bit as a Barça fan. In fact, I felt a bit shy when Messi spoke to me!”
